Our little family Christmas
Jared received his deer, mounted European style, for a surprise Christmas present (it was done earlier than he expected). I think with all of Jared's 'hunting' purchases made this year, he's good through next Christmas.

Christmas Eve in front of our tree - they were sooooo excited. It was very nice to be together as a family!
Jared's deer hunt Thanksgiving '09
The snow level was right above where they were camping, which is crazy considering their hunt was between Tucson and Mexico.
One of the few times that the 'boys' were able to start a fire for warmth. Every other night, they would eat their meager meal, head to their tents just after sundown, and curl up in their sleeping bags for the rest of the night. Does not sound fun to me!
The snow level falls and the 'boys' get some snow - brrrrr!!!!
Jared gets his deer on the second day of his hunt. He shot it at 413 yds using his dad's powerful gun (Jared's gun wasn't shooting properly) - he came home with 40lbs of meat...and a new gun and scope. Sigh...the most expensive meat I've ever purchased!
